Welcome to New Teacher Coach

Hey there!

As new teachers back in 2002, we both benefitted from the support of great mentors who equipped us with the tools and knowledge to have success early in our careers.  When new teachers experience success, they’re more likely to remain in the profession. 

Research shows a steady decline in enrollment in teacher education programs since 2013.  Not only that, but roughly 40% of new teachers leave the profession within five years.  To help address this problem, we created New Teacher Coach to provide new teachers with resources, ideas, and support.
